Sit at the edge of a chair with your spine long and your feet planted firmly on the ground, hip-width distance apart. Reach both arms behind you and grab the back of the chair. Inhale, press your elbows straight, squeeze your shoulder blades together, and expand your chest toward the front of the room. Feel your heart lifting toward your chin as you elongate through your neck and draw your shoulders away from your ears. Hold the pose for 5 cycles of breath.
